I chose to highlight the PBS Learning Media website. I have spent the last couple hours on the website and it has so much to offer. It has learning content for grade pre-k through 12th, it offers professional development for teachers, it offers ready to use lesson plans and so much more. I would use this website as a station in my science/math centers. I feel like it would be a great resource to help deepen the students' understanding of the material being taught, to reinforce what you have already showed them. It also offers online games that the students can play, it is compatible with google classroom so you can just directly link it to the students. I highly recommend this website for use in any grade level.

  1. Thank you for highlighting the PBS resource in the Elementary section of the Alabama Virtual Library. I love your idea of using this for science. I teach 1st grade so there is a high emphasis on ELA and math so having a resource ready with lesson plans and videos for science is amazing! Like you said this would be great for ELL classrooms because of the audio and visuals. I did my demonstration on PebbleGo and it has some similar characteristics. You showcased this resource great!
