I chose to dive deeper into Explora for Middle School. What I liked most about this database is that it is very user friendly, and helps students quickly narrow down their research topics by providing them with clickable images for categories, subgroups, and individual topic areas. Sometime I know they can be overwhelmed when they search for keywords, and they are bombarded with hundreds of articles, books, and videos. This allows them to quickly search for things that are related to their topic of choice and only shows that information. I also like that they can save the articles, download them as pdf files for annotations in other programs, and quickly find the citations needed when providing their sources. In my middle school classes, I plan to use this resource when they work on their "Computer Science is Changing Everything" research presentations that focus on how computer science is impacting all areas of out world.
